RCSO Looking for Suspect in Aggravated Battery Incident
The Roosevelt County Sheriff's Office is currently looking for Greg M. Sena, 28, who is facing numerous charges in conncection with an aggravated battery against a household member incident. These charges stem from an incident that occurred on Friday of last week near milepost 1 on NM 467 following an argument between the suspect and his girlfriend as they traveled from Clovis to Portales. During the investigation, it was learned that Sena was trying to force the girlfriend from the vehicle after pulling over. Information shows that the girlfriend tried to comply as well as retrieve the couples three year old daughter from the vehicle. During the incident, Sena choked and hit the girlfriend with a bat as she held the child and kept her from exiting the vehicle until she let go of the child. The girlfriend was then reportedly pulled from the vehicle and thrown into the traffic lane of the highway in front of a passing vehicle. This vehicle then stopped and picked up the victim. This incident continued to escalate as 911 was called and the vehicles headed towards Portales. Sena did eventually release the child, unharmed, at a location in Portales, and left the area. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Sena, who is facing at least seven charges in connection with this incident. Anyone who has information as to the whereabouts of Sena are asked to contact the Roosevelt County Sheriffs Office or your local law enforcement agency.
