***The Portales Convenience Center provides an easily accessible way for City or County residents to dump large residential trash like brush, appliances, furniture and like items without overfilling dumpsters or blocking alley ways.  The Center is located at the corner of Kaywood and Avon Streets and is open Monday through Friday 8-5 pm, Weekends 1-5 pm and closed holidays.  For more information or to schedule a pick-up of large or bulky items, please contact 356-5586 extension 1511.
